From Loeffler Randall to Sea New York, all of our favorite fashion brands have something in common this season: They’re full of crocheted, eyelet, and lace fabrics. Gone are the breezy linen caftans of coastal grandma and the little red dresses of tomato girl summer. These ’70s-inspired see-through knits are here for the season.
But the best thing about these woven patterns is that they can go so many different ways, not just boho. For instance, eyelet can veer traditional; crochet can go granny (in a good way); and lace, depending on how it appears, can fit almost any personal style.
And while we love a vintage-inspired look hanging in our closet, we love it even more in the home decor space. Sweet textured detailing on napkins, pillowcases, and throw blankets evokes a warm and fuzzy, nostalgic feel—like you’re hanging out at your effortlessly chic nonna’s house. Get the look with some of our favorites, below.
Eyelet Organic Cotton Napkins (Set of 4), Pottery Barn

Nothing says summer like cornflower blue.
Amelia Lace Café Curtain Set, Urban Outfitters

These remind me of the curtains I saw all over Italy on a recent trip.
Beatrice Napkins (Set of 2), Cabana

A subtle embroidered border goes a long way—I’d use these layered over a bright patterned tablecloth.
Antibes Eyelet Percale Sham, Serena & Lily

Eyelet shams would give my bed the exact “cottage in Maine” vibe that it’s lacking.
Tablecloth With Eyelet Embroidery

Simple eyelet cutouts make me want to retire my plain white tablecloths once and for all.
Fique Placemat by St. Frank, Moda Operandi

A crochet border adds a sweet touch to simple woven placemats, yet it’s still durable enough for alfresco suppers
Bottle Apron by Gohar World, Coming Soon

This may be the most unnecessary thing you could buy on the internet, and yet I feel strongly that I need it in my life. Your bottles would agree.
Handmade Crochet Tablecloth, Amazon

This tablecloth may be from Amazon, but your guests might just assume it was hand-crocheted by your grandmother.
Crochet Blanket, Zara Home

If the checker and crochet trends had a baby, it would be this blanket.
Vintage Handcrafted Crochet Pillow

Would it be weird if this pillow were a dress? The eye-catching print and high-contrast color combo are really doing it for me.
